I just got back from Vegas... tucked the kids in... and sat down for a quick blog post. What a great event... this year’s Photoshop World was a blast. I taught several new classes that I really enjoyed (the resources are going up in a few days).

The show was a great chance to catch up with industry pros as well as friends. I managed to bump into two former students and several viewers of our podcasts.

Some of the highlights of the show:

• Adobe announced that they will announce CS4 on September 23 (weird... I know)
• I caught a few great classes from some top instructors
• I saw some great new technology, blog posts forthcoming
• Lots to talk about soon... tonight I am tired.

Creative Chromakeying
The use of green-screen and blue-screen is a popular technique for both video and film special effects.  In this informative session you'll learn how to create virtual environments from photos, then key your video using Photoshop or After Effects.  A special emphasis will be placed upon using After Effects' powerful keying technology like Keylight as well as strategies to help with the production of the chromakey shoot.

I'll be at the Podcast and New Media Expo in California. This three day event is all about podcasting and the such. I'll be teachign a class called – Field Production Strategies for Video Podcasting. If you plan to attend, I'd love to catch up. The event will be held September 28-30 in Ontario, California (not far from LA). Hope to see some of you there.
